Asian Slaw



Asian Slaw- delicious on its own, as a side or topped on burgers or tacos.


-To save time, purchase shredded coleslaw and carrots. -Add some red bell pepper or shelled edamame -Make the dressing a couple of days ahead and use before serving


Asian Slaw


Dressing ( adjust to taste) 1 garlic, grated or finely minced 1 teaspoon ginger, grated or finely minced 2 Tablespoons olive oil 1 Tablespoon sesame oil 3 Tablespoons rice vinegar 1 Tablespoon soy sauce 1 Tablespoon honey, agave or sugar pinch of salt and pepper optional: 1 Tablespoon nut butter sesame seeds


Slaw: Shredded cabbage Shredded carrots cilantro, chopped green onions, sliced optional: nuts and sesame seeds


Directions:


Dressing: In a bowl, whisk all the ingredients together. Taste and adjust ingredients as needed.


Slaw: Add the shredded vegetables, green onions, cilantro and any other optional ingredients to a large bowl.

Pour in some of the dressing and toss together. Taste and add more dressing, salt or pepper as needed.
