Black Angus Steakhouse has been around for decades, but if it’s been a while since your last visit, it may be time to take another look.

At a recent media luncheon, we sampled a range of steakhouse favorites along with cocktails and a few things you may not know about Black Angus.

BEHIND THE PLATE

We sampled Loaded Potato Skins and Fried Zucchini, followed by a Grilled Shrimp Tomato Salad and Espresso-Rubbed Ribeye with Bourbon Butter. The ribeye was a standout, with an espresso rub that added depth to the steak and bourbon butter for a rich finish.

For dessert, the Cowboy Cookie à la Mode arrived warm and topped with ice cream—a classic steakhouse ending to the meal.

BEHIND THE POUR

Alongside the food, we tried a Manhattan, Strawberry Lemon Drop, and Strawberry Mojito Mocktail, offering options from spirit-forward to fruity and refreshing.

BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE

There were also a few things we learned that are worth knowing before your next visit. Ask about the bacon jalapeño cheesy bread, which isn’t listed on the menu, and try the creamy horseradish with your steak (not just the prime rib).

Black Angus also offers the Campfire Feast for Two, a three-course option that includes a shared starter, two entrées, and a shared dessert. Selections and pricing can vary, so check the current menu before visiting.

Beyond the restaurant, the Black Angus Marketplace offers steaks and other beef selections that can be ordered to enjoy at home.

From the Espresso-Rubbed Ribeye and cocktails to off-menu finds and options beyond the restaurant, there’s more to discover at Black Angus than you might remember.
