Frozen Yogurt Bars


These healthy frozen yogurt bars are great as a snack, or dessert. Use your favorite Greek yogurt and top with berries, fruit or toppings.


Here are some options:

  • Stir in protein powder to yogurt for a pre / post workout snack

  • Stir in vanilla

  • Stir in whipped heavy cream or coconut cream for extra creaminess

  • Stir in pureed berries or fruit

  • Pour yogurt into ice cube trays and add various toppings. (can add popsicle sticks).


This would be a fun project for kids to create their own bars or make different variations with vegan yogurt or toppings


All you need to do is: spread yogurt in a pan lined with parchment paper, add toppings and freeze. That's it!


Frozen Yogurt Bars


Ingredients

  • 2 cups Greek yogurt ( or more as desired)

  • 1-3 Tablespoons honey or sweetener

  • Optional Toppings: berries, fruit, granola, oats, dried fruit, chocolate chips, nuts, coconut flakes, etc.


Directions


Add honey or sweetener to the yogurt container and stir together ( or mix yogurt and honey in a bowl).


Line a pan or container with parchment paper (size of the pan or container will depend on how thick or thin you want the bars). Extend the parchment paper up the 2 sides so you can easily lift the bars with the excess paper once frozen.


Spread the yogurt evenly onto the pan. Add your desired toppings and freeze for at least 2 hours or until completely frozen ( the time will depend on the thickness).


Lift the parchment paper and place on a work surface. Use a knife to cut into bars or any shape / size desired and serve immediately. Store leftovers in a Ziploc bag or container in the freezer.
