Tastemakers of Orange County: Celebrating Food, Culture & Community

Tastemakers of Orange County brings together chefs and restaurants from across Orange County for an evening celebrating Asian and Pacific Islander-inspired cuisine, culture, and community.

Held at the Julianne & George Argyros Plaza at Segerstrom Center for the Arts in Costa Mesa, this year marked the 10th anniversary of the annual culinary event.

More than two dozen participating chefs and restaurants served dishes throughout the evening, giving guests the opportunity to experience a wide range of flavors in one setting.

BEHIND THE EXPERIENCE

Tastemakers is centered around the chefs and restaurants that make up Orange County's diverse culinary community. Guests move throughout the outdoor plaza sampling dishes while meeting the people behind many of the participating restaurants.

The evening also included live entertainment, music, and an opportunity drawing, creating an experience that extended beyond the food.

Produced by the Orange County Asian and Pacific Islander Community Alliance (OCAPICA), Tastemakers also serves an important purpose. Proceeds from the event support OCAPICA's programs and services in areas including health and mental health, youth development, housing, workforce development, and community support.

Celebrating its 10th year, Tastemakers continues to bring food and community together while supporting the work of OCAPICA throughout Orange County.
